Metro Kajang Holdings Berhad is a public listed company on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") main board. The company is based in West Malaysia. The Metro Kajang Group comprises of 47 subsidiaries and 1 associate company and are principally involved in property development, hospitality services, investment holding and furniture manufacturing.

The Metro Kajang Group has completed over 19,000 units of properties and is well known as a reputable property developer, especially in Kajang. In addition, the Group also operates a hotel (Prescott Metro Inn) and 2 shopping complexs (Plaza Metro Kajang and Metro Point Complex) in Kajang town itself.

HISTORY AND BUSINESS

Metro Kajang Holdings Berhad was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company on 27 September 1979, under the name of Srijang Bena Sdn. Bhd. The Company changed its name to Srijang Holdings Sdn. Bhd. on 6 July 1987 and subsequently to Metro Kajang Holdings Sdn. Bhd. on 20 August 1993. On 12 July 1994, it was converted to a public limited company for the purpose of listing on the Main Board of the Bursa Securities which was completed on 18 October 1995.

Metro Kajang Holdings Berhad is an investment holding company. Its subsidiaries are involved in property development, project management, building management services, building construction, hospitality services, general trading in building material, furniture manufacturing and licensed money lending, hire purchase and leasing.

The Metro Kajang Group comprises of the parent company, Metro Kajang Holdings Berhad with 47 subsidiaries and 1 associate company.

To-date, the Metro Kajang Group has successfully completed and delivered more than 19,000 units of residential, commercial and industrial properties worth more than RM 2.3 billion.
